Red-tailed Hawk putting kids to bed - New Jersey

Adult female Red-tailed Hawk putting its one day old chicks to sleep:

Did you notice how gentle the parent is? Look again how she hides the talons away from the babies.

As you probably noticed, these young hawklets weren’t ready for the nap yet 😂

This video was recorded at the local Red-tailed Hawk nest in Passaic County, NJ.
