Common Eiders landing - New England

This time, it is an adult male bouncing off water as it comes to a stop during landing. It is very comical to see these ducks landing 😂

At this particular spot, you will get multiple occasions to get shots like this one even with a shorter lens. This shot was taken with a 100-400mm lens on a full frame camera. Yes, I will describe in detail where you need to be situated to get such photograph in my upcoming guide to photographing waterfowl in New England region: https://www.greggard.com/location-guides/common-eiders-new-england-ducks

One of the funny thing about of the way these ducks land is the bounce part :)
