Black-bellied Plover landing - East Coast, USA

An adult Black-bellied Plover, in full breeding plumage, spreading its wings as it is coming for a landing on the salt marsh at the Delaware Bay, NJ:

I was hoping to spend more days like this one in the southern NJ to photograph migrating shorebirds this past Spring. Unfortunately, weather didn't cooperate during the peak migration but I was still able to go out and enjoy these amazing birds. This year, I was mostly focused on getting wider, backlit shots to show the environment more clearly.
