I photographed these owls in Winter 2016/2017, which has been the most active year for these owls at this location so far. As Short-eared Owls start to migrate south from Canada, I hope that we will see them soon here in NJ/NY area. Maybe as soon as next week, as the cold weather is approaching. Fingers crossed 😊
