Pretty neat, isn't it? This was my first try creating this kind of animated photograph :) It was done with help of an iOS app called: Plotagraph+ Photo Animator.
If you want to try it out, you have a chance to get this $4.99 app for free - Offer ends January 15, 2018 and may not work in all countries.
Here is how to get this app for free:
1. If you don't have it installed yet, download/install the official Apple Store app from the App Store
2. Just to make sure, install the Apple Store app (screenshot below). If you look for this app using App Store, it will show/you will be charged the regular price of $4.99
This is how the icon of the Apple Store app looks like:
3. Then, simply open the Apple Store app and scroll down, on the main app screen, to the "Discover" section where you will find the Plotagraph+ free offer. This is how the screen should look like:
4. Download it and have fun! 😀
With the first launch of this app, you will see a quick tutorial. Do not rush through it. My tip, that I want to share right away, is that the exact masking of your subject is very crucial with creating a good animation. I know, it is not that easy to do it with your finger but you should get used to it quickly. Don't forget that you can zoom in on your photo with two fingers 😜 to help with masking. Have fun!
If you are on Instagram or Facebook, mention/tag me in your post. I would love to see what you were able to create with this app 👌

I hope that you enjoyed this post and the savings! If you would like to help me with creating more content like this, you can support my photography by purchasing any item on Amazon via my affiliate link: http://amzn.to/2alLCx2 - Just save it to your bookmarks/favorites folder and shop away :) Remember that prices stay the same for you - it doesn't cost you extra by using my link. I will simply receive a small percentage of a total you pay to Amazon. Be assured, no personal data is shared with me! And it doesn't stop there :) The more you shop, the bigger the donation I will be able to make at the end of this year. Every year, I'm making a donation to charities that help with conservation and rehabilitation of birds and other wildlife. This year, my charity of choice is The Raptor Trust, one of the premier wild bird rehabilitation centers in the United States: http://theraptortrust.org
If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, I would strongly recommend trying it out! You can try it out for 30 days, absolutely free!, by using this link: amzn.to/2hE7sTL - I highly recommend it! It is absolutely amazing what you are getting with this membership. Think about it, you can backup all your photographs to the cloud! I bet you won't find an Unlimited photo storage, with so many other benefits, at this price 😊
My favorite birding books (to save money, I often buy used books on Amazon 😉):
